Job Description

Job Title: Data AnalystLocation: Birmingham (South)/Hybrid role 3 days in the office and 2 from homeSalary: £34,000 - £38,000 per annum depending on experience plus benefitsExciting opportunity to work for one of the UKs fastest growing businesses who are growing year-on-year with no signs of slowing down. A company that is a truly diverse and inclusive employer who has a network of 70 branches located throughoutthe UK and prides itself on its culture and values, fostering a teamwork and family approach to getting business done.They are now looking for an experienced Data Analyst who will support the data provision of the marketing department and wider BI team and provide daily reporting to their branch network.Key responsibilities:

  • Delivering daily reporting to the branch network.
  • Working with the wider BI team to help drive company reporting strategy.
  • Supporting marketing comms by providing mailing/SMS/email lists and subsequent analysis.
  • Analysing Customer Contact Management campaigns.
  • Liaising with other departments and Branch Management staff.
  • Supporting the reporting needs of the wider Marketing Department and other Departments where necessary.
  • Presentation of data to Branch through Director level colleagues.
  • Travelling to branches a periodic necessity to deliver data workshops.
  • Making complex data easily digestible and actionable.
Candidate requirements:
  • Proven experience using Power BI in a similar role is essential.
  • Advanced Excel skills and working experience of SQL
  • Awareness of DAX, Azure, SPSS an advantage
  • Experience in a similar role is a must and the ability to translate complicated data into actionable information.
  • Ability to identify and implement efficiencies and working to tight deadlines.
  • Highly driven and self-motivated with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross functionally.
  • Good presentation skills
