Job Description

Due to continued growth and investment we are recruiting for a Customer Service Specialist to join our Secure Chain team who will be the main point of contact and also responsible for providing high levels of customer service to key external clients whilst dealing with queries and questions throughout the whole supply chainYOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Liaise with customers and suppliers to ensure that customer expectations are met during the movement of cargo.
  • Process bookings received from customers efficiently and ensure they are arranged correctly with suppliers
  • Ensure a steady flow of information and confirmation regarding all bookings.
  • Ensure a complete understanding of all booking procedures and operate accordingly.
  • Investigate any complications that may arise in relation to the movement of cargo and respond to them in a thorough and speedy manner.
  • To develop and maintain good working relationships with the internal/external customers and build mutual confidence and respect to ensure market knowledge and experience are at the forefront of every response to enquiries
  • Provide the Invoice Administration team with clear and accurate detailed files within specified deadlines where needed.
  • Completing any reasonable task requested of you by your supervisor/manager in a timely manner.
  • When deemed necessary, aiding in the completion of other departmental work to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the department as a whole to ensure customer service, internal or external, is continually maintained.
  • YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
  • Excellent Customer service skills
  • Excellent Communication skills - Verbal, Written and Telephone Skills
  • Previous experience in a customer services or customer facing role is advantageous
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Computer Literate and able to adapt to in house systems
  • Educated to GCSE Level in Maths and English
