Job Description

(especially if you are looking for progression)!Customer Service Advisor Responsibilities:

  • Handle, investigate, resolve and respond to customer enquiries and complaints regarding general information, online orders and deliveries via multiple communication channels.
  • Provide consistently high levels of service to our customers, ensuring that they are kept up to date at all times and that Company service level agreements are adhered to.
  • Provide a comprehensive administrative support service to new and existing customers. To proactively support our sales teams in the development of new business and maintain high levels of service to existing accounts.
  • Provide a comprehensive and professional sales order processing service to the business, ensuring that customer requirements are accurately interpreted and orders are processed in line with company processes and procedures.
  • Ensure amendments to orders are actioned immediately.
  • Monitor and progress customer back orders, providing updates where necessary.
  • Arrange transportation of orders to the customer or freight forwarder as and where appropriate in line with the customers trading terms, where necessary gaining quotes from freight hauliers to ensure the most cost effective freight is achieved.
  • Maintain accurate, up to date records of all despatch bookings (including carrier details, costs and any other relevant information.
Customer Service Advisor Experince Required:
  • Experience in accurately processing sales orders in a fast paced environment
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a number of tasks at one time
  • Must have an eye for detail and be able to quickly pick up and run with systems, processes, product knowledge etc
  • Answer live chats, emails, calls from customer regarding exchanges , warranties and delivery issues.
  • Receive, resolve and respond to website enquires and complaints in a timely manner.
  • Interpret customer concerns and defuse difficult situations by determining best course of action to resolve issues while upholding company policies.
  • Deal with customer complaints within own scope of responsibility, referring upwards or to colleagues in other departments as appropriate.
  • Competent user of MS Packages at intermediate levelExcel, PowerPoint, Word, Access and Outlook
