Job Description

Our Corporate Social Responsibility is at the heart of the Elis business. So much so, we have a newly created role for a CSR Manager to join our team.Did you know we received an EcoVardis Gold Award for five years consecutively, and in 2022 we achieved Platinum status.That means out of 75,000 companies working with EcoVardis we are in the top 1%!But we want more, and Elis is passionate about hitting our NET ZERO target and this is why our CSR Manager is so vital to us.You will work cross-functionally and also have strong links to our global teams to achieve the below key areas:

  • Assess and analyse our company policies and processes to identify areas and processes to which improvements can be made in accordance with the organisations commitment to sustainability.
  • Develop innovative and creative ways in which the company can balance business obligations with the goal of respecting, supporting, and improving the local and global environments
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to propose and implement strategies to address various sustainability concerns, including energy use, conservation, reduction of pollution, recycling, health and wellbeing, social inclusion, community engagement, and generaleducation on sustainability.
  • Co-ordinate as required relative energy and sustainability audits and drive improvement in our CSR position.
Youll be a strong fit if you bring a few of the below with you:
  • Experience in deploying CSR projects, ideally in a multisite business
  • Passionate about CSR with experience in sustainable projects and understanding of UK net zero policy and programmes
  • Excellent communication skills, working very well across multiple teams
  • Highly motivated for the challenge, proactive, open-minded, a creative thinker, and a real team player
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create presentations and deliver them in an influential and engaging manner
