Job Description

CREDIT CONTROLLER (12 MONTH CONTRACT)Role OverviewThis is a fantastic opportunity for a Credit Controller to join our Finance team in Birmingham for a fixed term of 12 months.The successful candidate will support our practice groups by working closely with the Group Credit Controllers, Partners, Lawyers and the Finance team as an integral member of the Credit Control team. They will ensure prompt collection of the firms unpaidbills ledger in accordance with the firms credit policy.The role will involve the management of your own ledger of accounts as well as liaising with internal teams and Partners to minimise and quickly resolve queries. You will also be responsible for the collection of debt within specific departments, minimisingexposure to bad debts through effective credit & risk management whilst maintain & building strong internal and external client relationships.Candidate OverviewWed love to hear from you if you hold the following skills and experience:

  • GCSE and/or A-Level qualifications in Maths and English.
  • Experience of working within a professional services, partnership or legal environment.
  • Excellent Excel and Word skills.
  • Good accounting knowledge.
  • Knowledge of Aderant Open would be a bonus.
