Job Description

Closing Date: 15/05/2022UNBOXED: Creativity in the UK is a once-in-a-lifetime celebration of creativity taking place across England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales and online from March to October 2022. Were lifting the lid on 10 awe inspiring new ideas, shaped across science,technology, engineering, the arts and mathematics by brilliant minds working in unexpected collaborations. Unmissable events and unforgettable experiences are coming to places and spaces right across the UK: from coastal towns and city centres to breathtakingareas of natural beauty.UNBOXED is looking for two dynamic Creative Content Coordinators to join the marketing and communications team. You will be responsible for creating content across a range of media, covering all of UNBOXEDs ten commissions, its learning and participation programmeand external collaborations and partnerships. As Creative Content Coordinator, you will be responsible for capturing, editing and curating digital content, identifying and portraying creative stories, liaising with external agencies and utilising your existing creative skills to create artistic contentfor international audiences. Responsibilities:

  • Capture, edit and curate digital content across the entire UNBOXED programme.
  • Create content across a range of channels, including blogs, digital media, film and vlogging, photography and social media.
  • Use content channels to tell the stories of our UNBOXED commissions and partnerships to both national and international audience.
  • Work with the Strategic Campaigns Managers to engage with the individuals and organisations who are creating our ten commissions and the partner organisations.
  • Ensure that content capture opportunities which support our master content plan are maximised across the whole of the UK.
  • Instruct and manage external creative agencies, ensuring project timelines are adhered to.
Skills and Experience RequiredEssential
  • Experience working in a content creation-related position, either professional, community creator or independently
  • Confident in creating content within at least one area, including writing/blogging, digital media, photography, social media or vlogging
  • Editing, proof-reading and/or publishing skills
  • Access to your own vehicle / transport (mileage can be expensed back)
