Job Description

Our client, a top 50 law firm, is looking to recruit a Court of Protection Specialist to join their well-regarded team.Hybrid or remote working will be considered along with a flexible working pattern.The role will involve working closely with the Department Head on a number of high value complex cases and will provide comprehensive legal advice and representation to the clients and family members. Work will include general day-to-day management of Propertyand Affairs Deputyships along with the following; the sale and purchase of property and other high value assets, high value adaptation projects, preparing all types of application to the Court of Protection to include Deputy appointment, ACC, urgent applications,and other applications for authority that may fall outside the Deputys general authority and statutory wills. You will have a solid understanding of the new Professional Deputyship Standards, Mental Capacity Act 2005 (and its Code of Practice) and the Courtof Protection Practice Directions.Applications are sought from experienced Court of Protection specialists with a minimum of 5 years PQE and who can demonstrate previous experience in all of the core areas.
