Contracts Manager Duration - 6 Months Location - Warwick / Remote Summary My high-profile utilities client is looking for a contracts manager to join their team based in Warwick on a hybrid basis (1-2 days a week on site) on an initial 6-month contract with chance of extensionsAs Contracts manager you will work very closely with our Asset and Operations teams. In this role you will managing both the category and the contracts related to compressor maintenance and the procurement of compressor equipment to support the business toachieve its goals and deliver excelled service and value for money. In addition to this, you will also look to drive and implement category initiatives and value levers to ensure maximum value is being delivered through the compressor category area lookingat spend consolidation, innovation, efficiencies and sustainability improvements.Were looking for a strong Procurement and Contract expert to lead the contract management activities and to build the category strategy for this area of spend. This is a complex category (complexity being management of high value, high risk, critical to business,multi-stakeholder engagement projects) and you will be required to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders to ensure performance of the existing contracts and to identify business needs and ensure we understand the supply chains to offer the bestsolutions.Youll need to demonstrate significant experience of contract and category management and where you have been involved in complex commercial business strategies and projects. Youll be a subject matter expert when it comes to developing and implementing categorystrategies from start to finish using your project management skills to juggle multiple priorities whilst consistently delivering outstanding results and taking ownership Good knowledge of contracts and commercial value levers is highly desirable, and it goes without saying that youll be both great with data analysis and a fantastic communicator with the ability to lead negotiations at senior level. An ability to deal withstrong suppliers in an environment where there is a mismatch in power dynamics between organizations would also be very useful.
