Job Description

An excellent opportunity is available on a 9 month fixed-term contract initially with a business that provide outsourced clearing and settlement services for a Compliance Analyst. The business operate an agile working policy with three office days and tworemote days per week.The Compliance Analyst will focus on monitoring activities within Anti-Money Laundering (AML).Key Responsibilities:

  • Reports and suspicious activity monitoring
  • Investigation activity and seek high risk enhanced due-diligence (EDD) exception sign off
  • Annual reviews on an ongoing basis
  • Respond to AML Inbox queries
  • Monitors and communicates regulatory changes that impact products, services and business activities.
  • Maintains knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
  • Offers guidance on implementing regulatory changes.
The Compliance Analyst will posses some experience within a compliance monitoring capacity ideally from within a financial services environment and will have experience of working within AML. You will have the ability to communicate ideas both verbally andin written form in a clear, concise, and professional manner, have comprehensive knowledge of at least one substantive area of compliance, such as banking regulations, anti-money laundering, or anti-corruption. You will have excellent analytical skills, abilityto understand technical documents and legal or regulatory reference materials and ability to understand and apply learned concepts.This is an excellent fixed-term contract opportunity with the potential to extend with a growing and expanding organisation.
