Job Description

Paradigm Mortgage Services is a multi-award winning Mortgage Club who offer a wide variety of support services to financial advisers across the UK. We are delighted to be recruiting for an enthusiastic and hard working individual to join our team as a Commissions Administrator.This role will involve reconcilliation and processing of commission and fees, making daily payments to our member firms, overseeing invoices and being involved in the finances relating to our business. The role will also entail membership duties such asprocessing new member registrations and issuing correspondence to welcome those who have joined us. You will also deal with general enquiries from firms, with advice being given either via the phone or on email - so we are looking for someone who is confidentand well-spoken via both channels.This is a great opportunity to join an exciting business in the mortgage and insurance sectors within financial services and to work with advisory firms.Responsibilities include:

  • Reconciling procuration fee and commission statements ready for payment to member firms
  • Processing and recording payments to member firms
  • Accurately processing, creating and recording invoices when requested
  • Dealing with new member firm registrations
  • Maintain and update the companys membership records with complete accuracy
  • Taking inbound calls and assisting with general enquiries
  • Organising team review meetings
  • General administrative tasks within the office including: sorting the post, checking the bank, reconciling bank statements, filing, booking meeting rooms, organising meetings
Requirements:
  • At least 5 GCSEs Grades A-C (minimum grade C in Maths and English)
  • Administrative/banking/reconciliation experience preferred (this will determine salary offered, within the advertised parameters)
  • Team player and experience of working with people
  • Strong administrative & organisational ability
  • Excellent keyboard and IT literacy (including the use of Microsoft Word and Excel)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Confident, clear and professional telephone manner
  • Attention to detail
  • The ability to work to strict deadlines
Working hours: 9-5 Monday to FridayThis is an office-based role however we can offer a degree of hybrid working/flexibility, i.e. one day a week working from home, however, being able to travel to the office is essential.
