Job Description

Part Time Commissioning Officer (0.5 FTE with flexibilty)Grade: Band D, £29,064 - £40,698 (Pro Rata)Based at: The Offices of the Police and Crime Commissioner,Lloyd House, Birmingham, B4 6NQClosing Date: 12 noon on 22nd January 2021, Interviews to take place virtually on Friday 12th February 2021.Do you have a keen eye for detail Do you relish challenge and variety in your working day Do you want to make a difference at work This post will support the Chief Finance Officer of the West Midlands Police Crime Commissioners office (WMPCC) to lead for the OPCC on a range of commissioning projects and policy areas while providing advice to the PCC, Head of Policy and colleagues on designated portfolios. To lead the implementation of commissioning activity, planning and development.The post will play a leading role in providing support to the commissioning activities of the Victims portfolio in the PCCs office, including tender preparation, award of contracts and all related processes.
