Commercial Underwriter required to join a well-established Wholesale Insurance Broker due to recent growthIn the role of Commercial Underwriter you will be tasked with enhancing the underwriting capability within its wholesale business to insurance brokers. You will manage accounts to ensure they are profitable and meet required standards whilst providing anexceptional level of service to insurance brokers. You will also communicate regularly with the broker to build the relationship and drive revenue.You will work in a busy fast paced wholesale team where you will underwrite new business and renewals. You will also deal with any mid-term changes to policies whilst complying with binder procedures and underwriting authority levels.Experience of underwriting with strong product knowledge is essential for this role. You will also have a good understanding of risk and have the ability to forge good relationships with suppliers and insurance brokers. Candidates who can bring previousexperience of property underwriting, or managing property schemes would be of particular interest. Its also important you can assist in the development of effective communications with other departments within the company.In return you can expect a competitive salary, annual bonus and benefits package with the ability to work fully remotely.
