Working for a leading central government regulator as Commercial Regulatory Specialist you will be leading on one or more projects in the future assets and resources (FAR) cluster, youll ensure that this organisation is delivering on their strategic objectives to time and to budget.Successful candidates will be expected to lead on different projects within the future asset regulatory cluster which will deliver on major infrastructure and resource needs for a number of critical utilities organisations.The work will involve managing projects through the various processes that have been designed to ensure efficient and effective delivery including responsibility for managing projects through this organisations framework.On a day to day basis, you will be expected to manage interaction with all key stakeholders on your allocated projects, analysing complex commercial, financial and technical proposals and preparing recommendations for senior management on how the regulatory framework is structured and applied to ensure the best value for money solutions are bought forward in the interests of customers.You will lead on the recommendations for project submissions at the various gates, for example on DPC, the Strategic Outline Business Case, the Outline Business Case and the Final Business Case. As part of this lead role, you will be expected to ensure that you critique and challenge the submissions within tight timelines to ensure that any proposed recommendations are of high quality, robust and deliver benefits for customers.You may well hold ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA or similar qualification as well as experience of leading workstreams or managing major infrastructure projects or programmes.
