Job Description

An opportunity to join a wholesale distribution business as a Senior Commercial Analyst, partnering with internal teams to provide actionable insights which will improve the profitability of the business.Key Responsibilities:

  • Business partnering with the Purchasing, Sales, Operations, and Management teams
  • Modelling the potential impact of changes to pricing strategies / structures
  • Be the go-to for pricing queries
  • Management of partner brand price increases
  • Customer profitability modelling and analysis
  • Development of pricing and commercial KPIs and associated reporting
  • Provide in depth, actionable analysis of the account base to drive revenue and profit
Key skills and attributes
  • Demonstrated experience in a pricing or commercial analyst role, degree qualification desirable
  • Strategic, analytical and commercial mindset
  • Team player
  • A continuous improvement approach
  • Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
  • Experience using PowerBI or equivalent
  • SQL knowledge
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
