Job Description

Our Birmingham-based client is a rapidly up-and-coming FMCG business who are actively looking for their next interim Commercial Analyst. Importantly, this has the real potential of becoming a permanent placement. The successful candidate will be comfortablewith assuming total autonomy over their work, seasoned and knowledgeable in the commercial sphere, and eager to hit the ground running.As Commercial Analyst, youll be asked to lead the charge when formulating revenue strategies and utilising information to produce insightful analyses to the Board. The ideal candidate will also oversee the development and continuous improvement of pricingmodels, with special assignments requiring unique, innovative approaches. Further duties will require you to liaise with various departments from marketing to operations, working collaboratively to have a tangible impact upon the future of the business.Ideally, you will:

  • Be immediately available and have experience in a similar Commercial Analyst role.
  • Have excellent Excel skills and expertise with Power BI software, both of which are essential.
  • Have particularly strong interpersonal skills, being able to communicate effectively both as a mentor for your own team and with finance/non-finance counterparts.
  • Consider yourself a driven, diligent and disciplined individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
