Job Description

With an enviable market position, pre-existing customer relationships and a range of industry-leading products in the fastest-growing segments, our client is seeking a Clinical Specialist to join their team across Birmingham & the West Midlands.The companyAt the forefront of the Orthopaedic supplier market, our client provides cutting-edge, high-value, and bespoke solutions. Supporting healthcare professionals in more than 53 countries to improve the quality of life for their patients. They are continuingto grow, employ more people, and launch new products to ensure they deliver high value to their customers and ultimately deliver even faster sales growth.The roleIn this role, you will provide case coverage and sales support across the territory, as well as maximise the impact of marketing plans and other company assets. You will be providing valuable support and showcasing our client’s orthopaedic products and implantsto a range of hospital staff and clinical stakeholders in both NHS and private healthcare settings, alongside some sales exposure.Other responsibilities include:

  • Being accountable for providing clinical support to the Sales Representatives
  • Working with and supporting Sales Representatives to ensure targets are achieved
  • Reporting any product issues, safety alerts and recalls
  • Providing any suggestions for product or process improvement
  • Organising and conducting training, theatre participation and workshops
  • Providing and supporting sales opportunities for new business
  • Building strong, long-term customer relationships
  • Translating complex technical information into simple messages
  • Maintaining high-level knowledge of developments in the orthopaedic sector
The requirementsYou will be a clinical individual or a recent graduate looking to break into the orthopaedic industry, as well as:
  • Degree Educated in a relevant discipline
  • 2 years of clinical or customer-facing experience
  • Theatre/Clinical experience is essential, unless from graduate background
  • Knowledge of Human Anatomy
  • Excellent customer-facing skills and ability to maintain a strong personal impression
  • Comfortable working within a surgical environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Resilient and able to thrive in a high-pressure environment
  • Full UK driving license
  • Flexible and willing to travel across the territory
