  • Be the key go-to clinician in the day-to-day operation of the pharmacy.
  • Act as the Responsible Pharmacist.
  • Carry out clinical suitability checks on private prescriptions received for our patients.
  • Carry out accuracy checks on prepared medicines (when we dont have a suitably trained technician who normally does this!).
  • Provide advice and support to our patients to help them get the best possible outcomes from our medicines, safely.
  • Liaise with our prescribers to ensure medicines will be safe and effective for patients.
  • Support and train pharmacy support staff to improve their knowledge and skills, and help them meet their career goals.
  • Advise the Superintendent Pharmacist on clinical issues, risks and potential improvements to improve patient safety.
  • Handle initial patient safety incidents and complaints.
  • Have responsibility for some clinical governance key performance indicators for the pharmacy.
  • Not have any direct line management responsibility, unless you want it.
Youll definitely bring...
  • At least 2 years hospital, industrial or community pharmacy experience
  • Registration as a Pharmacist with the GPhC

  • Postgraduate Clinical Pharmacy qualification
  • Experienced in a acting as the Responsible Pharmacist

  • Experience or interest in dermatology
  • Experience or interest in weight management
