Job Description

Role: Clinical/Counselling/Forensic PsychologistSite: Cygnet HeathersHours: Full Time, and Part Time consideredSalary: Up to £50,000pa DOE**Please note this role is a Fixed Term contract for a minimum of 8 months**We are currently looking to employ a parttime Clinical, Counselling orForensic Psychologist to join our Therapy Team at Cygnet Hospital Heathers. The successful candidate will join the experieced Psychology Department.The applicant will be aHCPC registered Clinical, Counselling orForensic Psychologist with experience in clinical settings. Trainee Clinical or Counselling or Forensic Psychologists who are due to be registered with the HCPC within the next six months will also be considered.Cygnet Heathers:Cygnet Heathers is a 20 bed service providing neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative rehabilitation for men with mental health difficulties and acquired brain injury.If you want to make a difference and ensure people can achieve their goals and get the most out of life, then please read on...You will ensure the systematic provision of a high quality psychological service to Cygnets Midlands services and work autonomously within professional guidelines while exercising responsibility for the systematic governance of psychological practice within the service/team.A major requirement of the job is to act as a highly specialist resource to the wider professional community and to carry out audit, policy and service development and research activities and/or programs. To propose and implement policy and service development changes within Cygnet as served by the team/service.Some of the benefits of this role include:
