From domestic and cross-border payments, international trade finance, acting as trustees, agents and custodians for our clients, we aim to help you optimise every opportunity, minimise risk and achieve your commercial objectives.Key Responsibilities:

  • Working directly with the global external entity network to complete external account recertifications, establishing a strong relationship with each provider
  • Working directly with internal Deutsche Bank Business Account Owners and their associated operations teams, to complete the internal account recertifications process, establishing a strong relationship with each business.
  • Working in close collaboration with the Global Network Management (GNM) team, Global Reconciliation Group (GRG), Nostro Management (NM) and the Treasury Team to investigate and resolve any reconciliation discrepancies, to ensure the successful completion of the recertifications in line with the agreed annual schedule
  • Operating effectively within tight timeframes and provide support and cover where required for team members
  • Producing accurate daily/weekly/monthly reporting to demonstrate the progress on account recertifications and any remedial work which is required
  • Responding promptly and effectively to adhoc queries and investigations focused on resolving account recertification inconsistencies
  • Hosting, attending and/or representing the GNM team during conference calls arranged with the external entity network, business owners, internal teams and stakeholders (of all corporate titles)
  • Assisting with evidence collation for a formal response to internal and external audit requests
  • Skills & Qualifications:
  • Degree or relevant industry experience
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and effectively manage workload, working within tight time frames
  • High and consistent attention to detail
  • Strong ability to coordinate, host and minute conference calls and webEx sessions with a range of participants, including senior management audiences
  • Experience in responding/contributing to audit requests
  • Ability to produce concise and accurate reports
  • Good team player, including strong communication and ability to build relationships with team members across multiple locations
  • Assisting with the opening and closing of accounts and liaising with the global agent bank network
  • Experienced in operating in a client service environment
  • Experienced using Lotus Notes/Outlook/ SharePoint/Microsoft Office (in particular Excel; formulas, pivot tables and charts)
