Job Description

CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGER (Remote working optional)Salary to £48K About the role: Our client is looking for a Client Relationship Manager, who will be in charge of the management of existing and successful on-boarding of new partnership agreements, this role is crucial for the long-term success of the business.Key Duties:

  • Managing the current client partnership accounts with the aim of developing excellent relationships
  • Improving operational process to ensure timely enquiry management and order delivery
  • Providing excellent customer services to both internal and external customers
  • Expanding the scope of the agreements to provide additional service offerings and differentiators
  • Support the targeting, on-boarding and delivery of new agreement opportunities
Management and development of client partnerships agreements:
  • Build a strategic plan for each client partnership account, which aligns with the divisional strategic and fiscal objectives.
  • Ensure the strategic plan remains relevant for each account with regular reviews of progress to ensure any opportunities are being maximised.
  • Become a subject matter expert on the capabilities of each client partnership account and promote their use both internally and externally.
  • Attend and organise regular meetings with clients to ensure the ongoing operational and relationship management of the agreements is progressed.
  • Expand the current agreements to include better payment terms, new service offerings and better access to products
  • Maintain and manage the key relationships for each partnership agreement, establishing a rapport with the relevant contacts
  • Provide relevant feedback to line manager regarding client [internal and external] service feedback, and action improvements where necessary.
  • Look for synergies across different areas of the business where the accounts could be effectively utilised, or vice versa.
  • Ensure there is a clear and robust process for the onboarding of any new client accounts.
  • Ensure robust reports are created and maintained with regular reviews conducted with any trends and opportunities identified.
  • Support line manager with the targeting of new client partnerships and assist with any proposals.
Operational management:
  • Ensure there are clear processes in place to manage the day to day operations of the accounts, and where required, help the client partnership specialist with the day to day running of each agreement.
  • Be an escalation point for any operational issues and provide and apply a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
  • Provide excellent customer service to client partners, internal and external customers; to be measured through implementation of KPIs and a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the timely tracking and delivery of all orders through the agreements.
  • Ensure any processes for forecasting supply of products and the mechanism to capture data and forecast is continually improved to provide the most efficient way of working with clients.
Skills and requirements:
  • Educated to degree level
  • Customer service/account management or client relationship management experience
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organisation
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficient in use of web based IT systems and Microsoft (MS) Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word and MS Project
