Job Description

Client AccountantUp to £38,000 (Experience dependant)Birmingham City CentreOur client is a leading Global Real Estate company who is looking for a Client Accountant who would like the opportunity to not only work on an interesting Commercial Portfolio, but also to grow within a team that thrives on challenges and pulls togetheras a unit when needed.Main duties:

  • Producing monthly/quarterly reporting
  • Assisting with producing service charge budgets
  • Raising rent and other charges
  • Producing service charge year end reconciliations as well as bank cash reconciliations
  • Processing and dealing with data amendments on the system
  • Mentoring Junior members of staff where required
  • Client/property fund balance reconciliation
  • Driving improvement in processes and controls where possible
  • All other ad hoc tasks as required
The ideal candidate:
  • Previous experience in a Client Accountant or Assistant Client Accountant role
  • Solid knowledge/experience of client reporting
  • Knowledge/experience of producing service charges
  • Experience of dealing with property management systems
  • Impeccable interpersonal/communication skills
