Job Description

Your new roleAs a Claims Performance Analyst within our Finance & Business Services (FBS) Directorate, you will act as the single point of contact for all Claims benchmarking data.You will be working closely with the Programme Manager and Head of Network Claims to design and deliver the system and suite of reports to support the business needs. You will identify, maintain and analyse data for effective management of the end to end Network Claims processes and will need to work with Regional and Central Managers to ensure the appropriate reporting structures are in place to support individual team performance and support individual claim handling objectives.You will need to be able to present information in a clear and concise way, not only producing high quality visual information, but also presenting the analysis in such a way that it tells the story and helps inform senior management decisions.What you will be leading on

  • Produce effective management information required to improve the speed and level of claims recovery and settlement
  • Produce accurate and timely reports, analysis, benchmarking data, presentations and other documents as necessary to senior managers. executives and other stakeholders to facilitate effective management decisions.
  • Record and analyse trends information to help inform business decision making and pro-actively highlight any risks or areas for possible concern
  • Create and manage a performance dashboard for network claims ensuring the group is held to account for delivery of key objectives.
  • Work effectively within an existing change programme, contributing and making decisions reporting/metric requirements that need to be delivered with the new claims management system.

  • Experience of information and data collection and analysis.
  • Experience of working with data to present information in a visual manner.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience of optimising Microsoft Power BI dashboards and end-to-end Power BI development experience (Tabular Data Modelling, Power Query, Power Pivot, DAX, etc.)
  • Experience of using standard MS Office products, particularly MS Excel to enable the production and maintenance of a range of complex spreadsheets and report
  • Ability to work with a range of stakeholders; good communication skills and ability to translate complex information to meet the needs of different users
