Job Description

My client are established in the provision of energy solutions across the UK. The company are looking to direct their focus towards the renewables sector, and need a Chartered Electrical Engineer to help drive this forward. The ideal candidate will be aChartered Electrical Engineer and have experience with electrical design and installation of EVs and renewables. The role is home and field based across the UK.Chartered Electrical Engineer Position Overview

  • Carrying out technical consulting duties
  • Be accountable and lead the technical design of electrical installations
  • Ensuring regulatory and industry standards are adhered to
  • Managing a group of technical experts
  • Representing the company and its goal to move towards renewable technology
  • Provide assistance with escalated technical queries and provide approvals
  • Working with product and commercial teams to give guidance on appropriate hardware necessary to meet customer needs
Chartered Electrical Engineer Position Requirements
  • Chartered status
  • Electrical qualifications including City and Guilds 2360 (parts 1 and 2), 2382 and 2391
  • Experience within the renewables sector, particular EVs
  • Electrical design experience
  • Knowledgeable of electrical standards and regulations
  • Strong project management and organisation skills
  • Communication and networking ability
  • UK Driving Licence
  • The role is home based but you must be prepared to travel across the UK
Chartered Electrical Engineer Position Remuneration
  • Salary £65,000 - £70,000
  • Annual performance based bonus
