Job Description

Job Opportunity - Change Communications Manager Position: Permanent, Full Time + Hybrid workingBasic Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (Dependent on experience)Are you passionate about change communication Do you excel at creating and leading communications that truly inspire colleaguesOur client is undergoing a significant transformation aimed at prioritising their stakeholders. They are seeking an excellent relationship builder with strong emotional intelligence to develop and deliver the communication strategy for a major change initiative.You will bring your experience and creativity to inspire colleagues about the future, making them feel part of the change, while coaching leaders to foster greater connectivity.Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and implement a communications and engagement strategy for a significant change program that effectively engages employees.
  • Create high-quality, audience-focused communications that generate clarity about the direction and purpose, ensuring colleagues feel connected.
  • Collaborate closely with the Transformation team and coordinate activities across workstreams to ensure timely and well-planned communications.
  • Understand the employee journey associated with the change program and build meaningful interactions at every stage to engage employees and drive commitment.
  • Develop and manage a stakeholder plan that analyses audience needs and tailors communication accordingly.
  • Provide strategic communication advice and guidance to the Transformation team.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the communication strategy and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Articulate the objectives and outcomes of the program, aligning them with the overarching strategy.
  • Coach leaders across the organisation to enhance their communication skills and foster greater connectivity to the future and to leaders themselves.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Experience working on change programs with multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
  • Extensive experience in creating, managing, and implementing complex change communication plans.
  • In-depth knowledge of the full range of communication channels and their role in successful engagement, particularly regarding change.
  • Experience working with complex subject matters and crafting clear, compelling messages to drive engagement and understanding across a broad audience.
  • Proven experience in conducting comprehensive research and analysis to deliver an insight-driven approach to communications.
  • Strong project management skills to prioritise and drive communications initiatives, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience.
Desirable:
  • Experience supporting change within a complex and geographically dispersed organization.
  • IOIC/CIM/CIPR qualifications are preferable but not essential.
