Job Description

A new opportunity to join a growing Procurement team within an Industry leading organisation as a Category Specialist - Business Services and Charity Lead,working from home within - Midlands, SW/SE England or East AngliaAs the new Category Manager Business Services and Charity Lead, you would be taking the lead responsibility for the Charity sector and covering the Business Services category (HR, payroll, legal, consultancy etc.) so experience in these areas would be advantageous.Knowledge and experience of public sector procurement is essential for this position.What they will offer you as a Category Specialist- Business Services and Charity Lead

  • What you need as a Category Manager -Business Services and Charity Lead As a member of the Procurement Team you will need to have good commercial awareness, excellent communication and relationship management skills with an ability to work as part of a team as well as on an individual level.The Category Manager will be a procurement champion, passionate about making a difference through procurement that is aligned with the company values. You will contribute to the development and delivery of the Procurement Strategy and be instrumental in taking the business forward into our exciting future.About you; *MCIPS or equivalent experience *A procurement professional with a proven track record of category management, delivering efficiencies, savings and other value-added benefits in either the public or private sectors. *Experience of public sector procurement is essential *Home based - Midlands/SW En)gland/SE England/East Anglia*You will have an excellent knowledge and experience of Public Contract Regulations 2015 and all applicable UK and EU procurement legislation*You will apply a robust and strategic sourcing process, using best practice category management tools and techniques in the development and implementation of an integrated category strategy.*You will have HR Management experience and the ability to line manage individuals within the procurement team.*Be a Procurement Consultant*Travel will be required on a regular basisApply now by hitting the button below Required skills
