Job Description

Are you looking for a rewarding sales career within Freight ForwardingOur client who are a global top 20 Freight Forwarder, are looking for a dynamic Cargo Sales Coordinator to work from their Solihull branch. The ideal candidate will be able to apply their strong global logistics background to generate and secure new business.This sales role is key to developing a pipeline of new business within Air & Ocean.Job Duties of an Cargo Sales Coordinator:

  • Support and assist with driving account acquisition.
  • Engage with the clients internal network to assist with sales development.
  • Completing spot rating and regular quotations for new & existing business, supporting wider sales functions.
  • Develop and manage individual sales pipeline with a focus on Air and Ocean Freight business.
  • Book & Attend meetings with support of sales managers.
  • Actively engage customers with consultative sales techniques to provide mutual beneficial and positive customer experiences.
Candidate Expectations:
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience within Freight Forwarding, preferably from a Air & Sea freight background.
  • Must be enthusiastic, ambitious, self motivated and looking to develop career progression.
  • Proven track record in B2B sales.
  • Experience of working to achieve individual targets and generating own sales leads.
  • Extensive knowledge of Air and Sea Logistics.
  • Computer Literate.
  • Cargowise knowledge would be beneficial but not essential.
More Details:
  • Salary £28,000 - £35,000
  • Commission incentive on top of basic salary of up to 25% + Large account incentive scheme.
  • Shift & Hours: Monday - Friday - 08:30 - 17:00
