Role: CAD Systems Automation EngineerOverviewOur client is a London based Design Automation startup, a rapidly growing team of Engineering and technology experts seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual who is passionate about using their expertise to improve efficiency and productivitythrough Design Automation. If you are a creative and proactive problem-solver with a strong background in CAD systems automation, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CAD Systems Automation Engineer to join their team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions for various CAD systems, including Autodesk Rivet, AutoCAD,Solidworks, and Inventor.The successful candidate will have a strong background in CAD systems and a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain automation scripts and tools. They will be responsible for working with stakeholders to identify areas for automation, developing automationplans and strategies, and implementing automation solutions.The CAD Systems Automation Engineer will also be responsible for maintaining and updating existing automation scripts and tools, as well as troubleshooting and debugging any issues that may arise. They will work closely with other members of the engineeringteam to ensure that automation solutions are integrated seamlessly into the overall CAD systems workflow.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field3+ years of experience in CAD systems automationProficiency in Autodesk Rivet, AutoCAD, Solidworks (Driveworks), and Inventor (Ilogic)Strong programming skills, particularly in C#.Net, ASP.net, Python, AutoLisp, Dialog Control LanguageExperience developing and maintaining automation scripts and toolsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and collaboration skillsLocation: Birmingham, UK.Initially to be a part-time work from home for first two months @ minimum 20 hours per week.Based on performance, the role is likely to be matured in to a full time with 50% attendance at workplacePart time hourly rate: 10£ - 20 £ per hour depending on skills and experience
