C++ Software Engineer One of the Midlands hidden gems are growing again and are looking for 2 key hires to deal with a large number of new customer wins. They are a leader in their field and have grown at a dramatic rate. The role will involve * Developing cutting-edge security products * Using agile practices to deliver exciting new features, On-Spec, On-Time. * Contributing positively in a fast paced, high-performing team * Mentoring junior developersThe right person for the job MUST have:• 3+ years commercial development experience in C++ including C++11 and STL;• Proven track record in multiple aspects of software development;• Excellent communication and team working skills;• Excellence in Software Engineer Practices;It is an advantage if you have :• Experience with enterprise customers and delivering at-scale solutions• Knowledge of development tools e.g. Jira, Qt, CMake, Conan• Knowledge of other languages e.g. Java, Python• Knowledge of operating systems Windows & Linux• Knowledge of networking technologies (routers, switches and firewalls)• Experience with test automation• Experience or understanding of agile and scrum methodologies.
