Buyer - Indirects Birmingham / Hybrid working available Salary & Package : Upto - £35,000 DOE Monday - Friday -hybrid working possible Pension: 4% / 5%, Additional benefits: 1x death in service, perkbox, EAP, free tea/coffee, free onsite parking at all sites, Hours: 37.5 - Monday - Friday -hybrid workingRole: Reporting to the Head of Procurement, the Buyer - In-directs will work with stakeholders across various departments & sites to manage the procurement of a variety of indirect spends, including but not limited to transport, facilities, health & safety,quality, Engineering, IT, sales & marketing. ·Manage the Procurement of a range of Indirect Products & services with key stakeholders. ·Reduce cost & complexity in supplier base. ·Support/manage the development and implementation of key category strategies as appropriate. ·Management & development of suppliers within responsible categories. ·Actively source new suppliers to create competition & ensure value for money. ·Ensuring business critical suppliers have robust contracts in place. ·Contract management with timely exit and tender plans. ·Support stakeholders with invoice queries. ·Create supplier scorecards for key areas. ·Support the delivery of the 3 year Procurement strategy.Key skills required: ·Previous buyer / procurement experience ·Indirect knowledge ·Manufacturing experience helpful ·Must have driving licence ·Ideally Ideally CIPS qualified or working towardsThis role will suit a person that has previously worked as a buyer, Indirect buyer, procurement
