Job Description

Position Overview

  • To support the Head of Business Process Management in ensuring compliance with internal procedures, regulatory requirements and external business standards such as ISO9001 (Quality Management), ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) and ISO14001 (Environment)
  • To support the provision of strategic & operational support so that business management risks are identified, assessed and mitigated.
  • To ensure that contracts are fully compliant with all statutory legislation and ISS Integrated Management System Policies and Procedures
  • To develop and foster positive relationships with Interserve management to ensure Integrated Management System Policies and Procedures are understood and implemented.
  • Identify and foster sound working relationships with key client personnel, understand their requirements and share the knowledge across all QSHE personnel
  • To provide advice regarding the Integrated Management System Policies and Procedures to Company personnel on all aspects of operational QSHE matters.
  • Main duties
  • Responsible for conducting audits of the Integrated Management System documentation, documents all positive and negative information discovered.
  • To ensure that each business unit / function operates within the policies, procedures and regulations and aligned to contractual obligations.
  • Establish, maintain and improve the operation of an efficient and compliant management system framework and to ensure the framework is in place and managed.
  • Actively participate in a compliance management team, sharing knowledge, best practise and work towards a standardised approach.
  • Prepare written reports of the results of the audits and presents the results to management, makes recommendations to management as to what must be done to become compliant
  • Provide Head of Business Process Management with accurate and timely monthly operational report on all HSE and Quality activities.
  • Enforces any new or updated best practices & customer requirements that have been established including any legal regulations.
  • Manage risk reviews ensuring the accurate identification and evaluation of risks and controls.
  • Equipping people with the skills to do their job and achieve higher standards
  • Person Specification
  • Proven track record in the provision of practical operational Quality solutions.
  • Experience with the implementation and management of integrated management systems.
  • High-level knowledge of legal processes.
  • Broad experience in all Management Systems Standards in accordance the high level structure (Annex SL)
  • Able to demonstrate continuing professional development
  • Evidence of practical audit/inspection experience
  • Evidence of knowledge of Business Collaboration and Business Continuity
  • Develop positive relationships with all the Operational Directors and Business Unit Managers; developing good working relationships throughout the Company and other stakeholders including Government Agencies and clients.
  • Demonstrate, through effective delivery, high standards in the implementation of policies, standards and procedures.
  • Develop positive, supportive working relationships with the compliance team, Interserve colleagues, and other work-related professionals.
  • Set a personal example for other to aspire to.
  • Qualifications & ExperienceQualifications:
  • Qualified Lead Auditor in 9001:2015 (IRCA Registered)
  • Quality Diploma
  • Member of the Institute of Quality Assurance (PCQI or CQI MCQI)
  • Experience:
  • Quality Assurance/Quality Control
  • Health and Safety Management Systems (ISO45001:2018)
  • Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001:2015)
