Job Description

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - Secured LendingEast/West/Central Midlands/Oxfordshire£35,000 - £40,000 + commissionAimee Willow Connex are working with a Commercial Lender offering cashflow solutions to businesses. The business offers working capital loans, revolving credit facilities and bridging finance on a secured basis and they have their own lending book.Recently they have branched out into INVOICE FINANCE so this is what these BDM roles will be covering.This role will be home based with occasional office visits.Key Responsibilities:

  • Introduce new business - build and maintain new and existing relationships with introductory sources for example finance brokers, insolvency practitioners, accountants, banks, clients
  • Achieve own targets of new deals, points and minimum fees
  • Building and maintaining a level of new enquiries and identify and secure opportunities for new business and contacts
  • Conduct sales meetings with prospective clients when required; complete loan templates for sanction of the facility
  • Commercial Awareness - develop knowledge and understanding of the asset-based finance industry including OSBF products and services, clients, competitors, introducers, risks, client industry and markets Teamwork Support
  • Business Development Manager Marketing - promote and represent the brand and services
Skills Needed:
  • Ideally you will have invoice finance or commercial secured lending experience
  • You will have an established network of introducers/brokers/professionals
  • Communication skills - maintain high level professional conduct with internal and external customers and introducers via face to face, telephone, email and written communication
  • Relationship Understand
  • Listen and interpret information
  • Understand needs and provide excellent customer service
  • Recommend appropriate and flexible solutions
  • Take initiative and take responsibility for actions
