Job Description

Business Development Manager / Partnerships ManagerSalary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 USD per annum (depending on experience) + stock optionsLocation: 100% remote with a high degree of autonomy in a dynamic, fast growth start-up, must be +/- 4 hours of GMT-3 time zoneLanguage Proficiency: Fluent or proficient in English, both verbal and written communicationWebsite: https://www.bluepepper.io/About us:BluePepper is a dynamic startup at the forefront of blockchain and decentralized finance (DeFi) applications. We are building wDoge (https://www.wdoge.tech/), a Dogecoin-Ethereum bridge.After getting the support from the Dogecoin Foundation and discussing technical details with Vitalik Buterin (https://watchv=ITLqGwBfAfY&t=1s), BluePepper has recently raised money from highly reputable VCs in the US and in the crypto space such as KenHowery, Jeff Skoll, Bill Lee, Vinny Lingham, Sundeep Madra and Jonathan Smith.The Dogecoin-Ethereum bridge allows Dogecoin users -the #8 cryptocurrency by market capitalization-, to participate in the Ethereum DeFi revolution, lending, borrowing, trading and more with their wrapped Doge assets. The wDoge asset is a joint collaborationin partnership with BitGo and the Dogecoin Foundation.About the role:Being the first commercial hire into the business, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and executing successful business development and partnerships that have resulted in significant business growth (in the Web3 / DeFi space).As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing relationships with strategic partners to drive revenue, increase product adoption, and expand our customer base. You will also be responsible for measuringthe success of partnerships, being the focal point of contact, and staying up to date with industry trends.This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and growth-minded individual who is passionate about crypto and building from scratch.Requirements:

  • 3+ years of business development and/or partnership management experience in a Web3/DeFi/NFT startup, with experience developing and executing successful business development and partnerships
  • Deep awareness of Ethereum, dApps & DeFi ecosystems
  • Extensive contacts in the space (ideal but not required)
  • You have hands-on experience with crypto and dApps (not just theoretical knowledge)
Desired skills:
  • You are a self-starter, and you take pride in your integrity and work ethic
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas and concepts
  • You have worked in startups before, and you are comfortable with ambiguity and remote work
