* £30000-£35000 (OTE £42000-£45000) + 10% Annual Bonus* Spearheading growth within a new regional area* Opportunity to progress and develop team in 24-48 monthsCharta Recruitment is partnered with a leading regional distributor based in the West Midlands, who are currently seeking a self-driven and passionate sales professional to join their sales force with a view of growing a new regional sales area as part of the business new 1-3-year growth strategy.This company specializes in providing Catering Supplies and Hygiene products to businesses operating within the HoReCa, Education, and Healthcare sectors. This is an exciting brand-new position spearheading the growth strategy throughout the West Midlands, with a view of developing a team over the next 24-48 months.The RoleAs a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and nurturing accounts across the South East Region, the responsibilities of this role include:* 70% new business-focused, proactive with identifying new business opportunities and engaging clients with a view of understanding their business needs and promoting products* 30% account management focused, developing on-going sales plans for existing clientele with a view of growing existing accounts and relationships* Regular travel to engage with customers across the West Midlands with a desire to understand their needs and build relationships* Ensure effective time management and journey planning to cover your area and ensure all potential opportunities are taken into accountExperience and Skills Required* Experienced selling into either HoReCa, Education, or Healthcare end-users.* Driven and motivated by hitting sales targets* Must have a proven track record of growing new sales portfolios and managing the growth of previous accounts (must be able to provide reference details to evidence sales record)* Familiar with digital business development techniques across email marketing and social media* Excellent communication skills in dealing with SMB owners and corporate buyers* Must be able to clearly demonstrate a structured sales strategy for developing new business across a region* Well-organized with journey planning and managing administrative duties* Previous experience within either Catering Supplies or Hygiene products is desirableThe Benefits* Competitive salary between £30000-35000 (OTE 40000-45000)* A view to create a new team within the next 24-48 months* On-going sales product and digital coaching training and development* 10% bonus based on company and personal targets per annum* Flexible and fully home-based, full freedom to manage your own schedule.* Car allowance up to £5000 per year, or company car - whatever you prefer.* Matching and adding 2% to your pension contribution, up to 10%.* Private medical family coverage* 28 holiday days (not including bank holidays)Unfortunately, the overwhelming number of applications we receive means that we arent always able to respond individually.
