Job Description

The City & Capital Group are delighted to be working exclusively with a dynamic and fast growing lender of bridging and development finance who have retained our services in order to appoint an ambitious, dynamic and well connected Business Development Manager to their growing. This is a key appointment for the lender in line with strong investment and excellent funding lines and thus the ideal individual will be well connected in the broker/property professional market and keen to hit the ground running.Our client assists their borrowers with loans of up to £15m and for a variety of different purposes across residential, semi commercial and commercial assets. Having lent over £200m prior to lockdown they are now keen to continue their exciting growth trajectory through the provision of further funding of key projects in your region.Within the role you will be expected to achieve a set target in regards to lending volumes annually and you will work strategically with your broker and property professional connections to identify and capitalise on the market opportunities that fit the appetite of our client.You will be supported by an excellent team of case managers, underwriters and asset managers within London HQ that will allow you to do what you do best, focussing on existing relationships and new business activity to both increase and improve your market connections and to drive lending volumes appropriately.The salary on offer is between £50k& £60k for the ideal individual. Higher offers may be considered for exceptional individuals if and where relevant. This will be complemented by a very favourable bonus structure (happy to discuss the detail) that will allow you to earn well in excess of £100k per annum where excellent performance is delivered. This will be complemented further by the company benefits scheme.Most notably, due to the exciting level of investment and funding at play, as well as the progressive and forward thinking culture of the business this is a genuine opportunity for you to propel your own earnings and career standing quickly within, once excellent performance has been delivered.Required Experience:You will be able to work in (location) each week and will demonstrate the following experience/qualifications form your career to date:

  • Previous experience within origination in the property finance sector
  • Highly skilled at managing brokers and property professionals
  • A good knowledge of credit and credit risk application within the property finance space
  • Demonstrable success against previous lending targets
  • Well connected in the introducer market and ready to hit the ground running

  • Confident diary manager and able to work alone and as part of a team
