Job Description

Business Development Manager£40,000 Basic + CarThe CompanyMy client is a bespoke Foodservice business who are growing rapidly year-on-year both in terms of sales, people and also locations.In order to continue this growth they are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to cover the Midlands.The business sells multi-temp products into Foodservice End Users.Because of the bespoke offering they offer their customers they are ideally looking for someone with a cheffing background.The RoleAs a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Selling Food into the Foodservice End Users
  • 100% of your role will be focussed on New Business Development and then will eventually also become focussed on developing, growing and maintaining existing accounts
  • Dealing with Chefs, Owners, Directors
  • Full P&L responsibility for the accounts which come under your remit
  • Hitting your individual objectives whilst equally contributing to the team’s goals and targets in terms of revenue and profitability
The Candidate
  • You MUST have experience within Foodservice Sales
  • You MUST have a Cheffing background
  • You will be looking to move forward to a new challenge and not running away from something
  • You must have a genuine passion for the industry
  • You will have fantastic relationship building skills
  • You must be tenacious and willing to apply the work ethic required to be successful
  • You will incredibly driven and have the desire to work in a people-centric environment - you put in the hard work, you will get the support and rewards in return
  • You will live within a commutable distance the Midlands
