This is a fabulous opportunity to join the business development team that sits at the very heart of commercial activity within this great organisation.As Business Development Manager (New Business), you will be responsible for self-generating and managing a pipeline of leads, setting up prospect meetings and offering a diagnostic approach to prospective B2B clients.As an accomplished Business Development professional, you will be responsible for acquiring brand new customers across the full range of commercial services that my client offers including sponsorship and advertising, insight & intelligence services, andinternational growth services such as export documentation and translations.You will be proactive, ambitious and focused on new business opportunities- increasing exposure and growing the client base by contacting and engaging with new contacts through a variety of channels as well as supporting any live campaign priorities.Confident and with a focus on building strong business relationships, you will represent the organisation at online and in-person events. Youll also be commercially astute and well versed in analysing market feedback and evaluating successful and unsuccessfulpitches, producing MI reports for the Senior Management Team.The successful candidate will have a proven record in new business development, sponsorship or sales and will be confident in designing and delivering business presentations and sales pitches, and keeping leads and business development updated using a CRM.My client offers hybrid working, HQ is based in Birmingham. You can expect to spend at least 10 days a month at Head Office, but will need to demonstrate flexibility if needed.
