Job Description

We are looking for a Business Development Managerwho is passionate about using their IT knowledge and experience to make a real difference to our world, working with some of the biggest public and private sector organisations in the UK.We offer a Good salary and generous bonus paying up to 20% per annum and we are flexible about where you work (within the UK).The Business Development Manager roleAs our Business Development Manager, we will give you the opportunity to make a real difference, covering a key sector, Local Government within your region.Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and grow our business within the Local Government Sector, primarily in the Midlands region
  • Help secure new business, focusing on growing our involvement in larger programmes and transformation projects
  • Ensure our customers success, become their trusted GIS advisor, identify decision makers, demonstrate our product capabilities, functionalities, and benefits
  • Identify, qualify, negotiate, and close sales within our existing customer base, ensuring the proposals meet the required margins and cost of sale.
  • Develop a Customer Success Plan, working with the customer to identify and recommend ways to maximize their ROI for using GIS within their organisation
  • Be part of our team - working with colleagues both within sales and other departments to help achieve targets
