Ground Control is the contractor of choice for many well-known private and public organisations - Network Rail, Tesco, Severn Trent Water, Sainsbury’s, Arqiva and the Tower of London to name a few.As a multi-award winning company, Ground Control now holds 33 BALI National Landscape Awards for a range of Landscaping and Grounds Maintenance projects, a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation, and a total of 9 RoSPA Gold Awards for Occupational Health & Safety.We have a brand new opportunity for a, home based, Business Development Executive (B2B) to join our expanding team at Ground Control. Reporting to the Sales Director you will be responsible for making outbound calls to potential clients, targeting new business whilst professionally outlining the full range of Ground Control Services. Your aim will be to discover as much as possible about the organisation and their contacts as well as always promoting the values and value propositions of Ground Control.You will secure meetings in accordance with the targets set and ensure CRM is used and kept up to date recording of all activity during your working day. In addition you will respond to inbound enquiries and clarify the purpose of the enquiry so that Ground Control’s reputation with the enquirer is always enhanced.In addition you will be expected to;• Assist in the development of internal opportunities • Undertake training to enhance skills within and beyond the role• Attend meetings and other calls as requested by your Sales Director.• Support your team in order for you to achieve your given targets and teams’ targets• Keep yourself and your team updated with all changes to technical/sales information• Check competitor websites and keep your team informed of changes• Provide data/presentation material for management reports/meetings in general• Notify the bid team of any upcoming tendersThis is a fantastic next step for a driven sales person. We would consider candidates with existing B2B telesales experience from any industry however we’d especially welcome applicants with a recruitment sales background or with sales experience within the FM industry.Ideally you will have at least 3 years’ experience in a telesales environment and a proven track record of securing successful leads in a B2B role. You’ll have excellent communication skills as well as being tenacious, driven and highly self-motivated.This role will be based from home permanently.
