Job Description

As a Business Analyst you will be responsible for gathering requirements and mapping all business processes across an exciting and varied portfolio of projects and workstreams. You will act as the custodian of this knowledge and become the main point ofcontact for all business process or technical work that impacts on these areas. You will also build your market & sector knowledge to understand industry best practice and identify and influence potential improvements to these processes that are relevant toMitchells & Butlers.Working in our Birmingham city centre head office in an office flexible role, youll be part of our award-winning IT Department, working within our Agile Delivery Team and reporting into the Lead Business Analyst.Join us at Mitchells & Butlers, the heart of hospitality.   • Becoming the custodian of knowledge and the main point of contact by analysing the existing processes in depth, to understand fully the end to end processes involved and any interdependencies, whilst building relationships with the process owner in eachfunctional area to ensure involvement in relevant discussions and work
  • Influencing and capturing all business processes and requirements by leading business process reviews and requirements gathering workshops, to understand the process and determine where improvements can be made
  • Leading visioning and solutioning sessions with the Architecture team, to help shape and clarify current and future initiatives
  • Through knowledge of process, determining the risk, benefit, timescales and potential cost of work that has been identified
  • Using standard documentation to capture business requirements
  • Ensuring that owners understand the final requirements and agree, with reasons for prioritisation, where necessary
What do I need Just like our brands, our teams are diverse.Youll need...
  • Experience of managing business change projects across multiple functions and stakeholders
  • Industry experience with demonstrable success in implementing process change projects
  • Working awareness of Agile and waterfall project methodologies
  • Knowledge of Microsoft technologies
  • Experience of systems and processes within the hospitality or retail sector
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment and prioritise work to manage multiple demands
