Job Description

To provide professional expertise, technical advice and support relating to the condition of assets managed by our client and to supervise appropriate resources that will undertake improvements and maintenance as part of a planned proactive maintenance strategy.Client DetailsOur client is a public sector organisation in Worcestershire.Description

  • Manage and maintain a diverse portfolio of properties.
  • Carry out building surveys and inspections.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on property condition.
  • Preparing scheme designs with costings and programmes for completion of projects and specification of works.
  • Manage property refurbishments and renovations.
  • Advising on energy efficiency, environmental impact and sustainable construction.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve department goals.
  • Adhere to all public sector standards and regulations.
  • Identify and manage risk associated with projects and capital works.
  • Ensure all properties meet health and safety requirements.
ProfileA successful Building Surveyor should have:
  • A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Building Surveying or a related field and ideally be chartered.
  • Demonstrated experience in property management and building surveying.
  • Knowledge of building standards and regulations in the public sector.
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
