Job Description

Blueprint Recruitment has an excellent opportunity for a Building Physics Engineer to join a reputable multi-disciplinary Engineering Consultancy on a permanent basis. Our client possess a wealth of knowledge and experience within the built environment anddue to an increased workload are looking for a talented Building Physics Engineer to join their team in Birmingham. This position offers flexible working conditions, with a mixture of office and home working.Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Undertaking energy modelling and building simulation, including HVAC system modelling using TAS.
  • Modelling and calibrating existing buildings and portfolios.
  • Early design modelling looking at parametric optimizations.
  • Completing projects for Part L compliance
The successful candidate will possess the following requirements:
  • Degree or equivalent certified Engineer.
  • TAS experience.
  • Experience working in industrial, building services or nuclear sector.
  • Strong understanding and experience using building simulation software.
  • Experience of working in Building Services in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems.
  • Confident in liaising with relevant design teams and contractors.
  • Strong communication, research and analysis skills.
