Brake Press OperativeTemp - Perm opportunityProfessional TrainingHours of work: Monday - Friday 0800-1630Rate of Pay: £10.42 -£11.00 depending on experienceWe are currently seeking an experienced Brake Press Operative for a company in Central Birmingham. The client is a specialist in complex metal pressings and fabrications who provide comprehensive metal work services, and able to complete projects with confidence.The right candidate will have a keen eye for detail, experience working with raw materials such as metal components and a clear understanding of Brake Press and machinery.Daily Responsibilities of Brake Press Operative:- Using hand measuring equipment including verniers and callipers to test the widths and angles of each completed components- Storing completed parts based on batch numbers- therefore a good attention to detail is required- Excellent understanding of Health and Safety regulations- Liaising with the rest of the machine shop to ensure that there is an accurate completion time assigned to each batch of orders- Assisting with tool changes, setting up the machine and changing desired output- Knowledge of AMADA break pressRequirements:- Ability to read technical drawings and fabricating parts in accordance with these- Experience or knowledge ofBrake Pressor CNC processes- Proven background in working to strict production targets- Ability to use hand measuring equipmentBenefits:- Training provided- Pension- Early finish on a FridayIf you are interested in applying for our Brake Press Operative role, please click to apply or alternatively email
