Our Bid and New Business team is part of ourwider Client Excellence function as we recognise that taking a relationship-focused approach to winning new work is essential. We apply a very creative, tailored approach to winning new work, whether this is for an existing client or a target relationship.The roleThe Bids and New Business Executive will report into one of the Bids and New Business Managers and will work closely with the wider BD team. We are a non-hierarchical team and encourage as much cross-team ideas development as possible - tapping into thecollective teams skills is crucial to ensure we are making the most compelling proposition we can.We put a lot of effort around supporting career development and see this role as a good opportunity to develop and forge a career in the team/ firm.This role can be based in any of our national offices.Main responsibilities

  • As the Business Development Executive, you will ensure we have up to date and easily accessible information that can be used for bids and new business opportunities.
  • Lead on the development of a Bids and New Business intranet space which will be a central repository for key information that is up to date and can help produce a "90% there" draft for the business to then finesse.
  • Develop and refresh standard content so that key information that is frequently asked for is available but that the content feels fresh and engaging.
  • Develop and regularly update the latest deals and projects that can be cited in Bids and New Business opportunities.
  • Ensure we have the latest client development examples and case studies which can be used in Bids and New Business opportunities.
  • Work with the Comms Team and BD Managers to develop best practice templates.
  • Develop standard credentials documents that can be on hand for core areas and ensuring these are updated quarterly/ frequently when new content can be added.
  • Proactively suggest and obtain new information as precedent material.
  • Assist with project work as required.
Skills and qualificationsIf you are right for us, you will have professional services experience with the ability to manage projects and keep to timelines. You will be confident in leading projects and drawing on support from the team as well as having strong communication and goodwritten skills.
