Job Description

BI AnalystBI Analyst / Business Intelligence / SQL / Tableau / Power BI / Birmingham / EdinburghMy client, a large and nationally recognised business who have won awards for being a great place to work is looking to recruit BI Analysts to join their growing Data Science team.As a BI Analyst youll inform and direct customer and partner experience activity by providing data-based insight into customer behaviour and interactions. Youll use SQL, Python and Visualisation tools to source, gather, cleanse, and analyse customer datato be used in the process of developing and delivering better customer experiences.There is lots of scope for remote and flexible working although we are looking for someone to be based near Birmingham or Edinburgh as you will still need to be prepared to be office based at times.Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop & deliver BI solutions using modern software techniques and tools
  • Build dashboards to deliver high impact insights
  • Work within agile squads in a multi-disciplinary environment
  • Work closely with the wider data community to build relationships
  • Assimilate and interpret information from diverse sources
  • Shape and deliver an informed business strategy through providing key insights, measurement and validation.
What Were Looking For
  • Ideally you will have experience in a similar Data Analyst or BI Analyst role or a relevant degree
  • Must have some experience of SQL and ideally some experience of BI visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Quicksight or Qlik
  • Any experience in Python, R or Spark is great but not essential
  • Must be a customer-centric professional with evidence of delivery against customer needs and expectations
There are 2 roles available and these are all full time, permanent roles.
