Job Description

BDM - Transport SectorBDM - Transport covering the UKKey Responsibilities of BDM - Transport:The role will focus on not only the infrastructure behind the sector but also the major players within the sector.

  • Focus on the continues evolvement of electro-mechanical and electric locking solutions and new patent protected master key systems into this sector
  • Work closely and effectively with the End User and their preferred contractors to identify, qualify, negotiate and close new business. Consideration to be given to ensure that we provide the best overall solution to the end user, and deliver world class service
  • Manage through the identification and development of robust business relationships directly with the end user and specialist distribution, OEMs, and System Integrators
  • Search for new, creative markets within the vertical to expand the current reach of the organisation and increase emerging business opportunities
  • Work closely with Product Managers and Internal Sales/Customer Service and the senior sector specialist to feedback customer needs and requirements
    • Key Requirements of BDM - Transport:
  • Experience in generating sales via specification using the unique features of locking solutions within the transport industry
  • Knowledge and experience of dealing with UK routes to market for security products
  • Knowledge of architectural ironmongery products both mechanical and electromechanical
  • A clean driving licence as this role does involve extensive travel within the UK
