We work in partnership with a number of NHS, voluntary, educational and research organisations to deliver a range of specialist inpatient and community mental healthcareservices, education and research that helps to improve the lives of people with complex mental health needs.St Andrews Birminghamis a 118 bedded adult mental healthcare facility comprises of eight units that cover medium and low security for both Men and Women. Located in Stirchley, a vibrant area in South Birmingham, easily accessible by road networks and publictransport.We are very proud that our Birmingham hospital is rated Good overall by the Care Quality Commission and Outstanding in responsiveness. We are also part of a wider healthcare provider collaborative, REACHOUT, working in association with two other NHSTrusts in the West Midlands.St Andrews Healthcare is looking to recruit aBank Receptionist to work within the Birmingham site. The successful candidate will be highly motivated and able to take control of difficult situations in a professional manner. You will have excellent communicationand customer service skills, be smart and presentable and work well in a team.You will be the face of the hospital and be stationed in the reception meeting and greeting all visitors to the site, as well as controlling access for all staff. Access control will also involve taking charge of issuing keys and alarms as well as severalremote intercom systems. You will also be responsible for the operation of the local switchboard system and for the prompt communication emergency incidents.The ability to work under pressure is essential. You will be required to multitask throughout the day, to cover all reception duties and provide a professional and effective switchboard/reception service.
