Job Description

We are recruiting Bank Health Visitors for flexible working in our Children & Families Division within Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (BCHC)Children and Families Division have approved a temporary uplift in Health Visitor Bank Pay for all Health Visitors working Bank Health Visiting shifts in their division. This means that all Health Visitors working on the bank will receive the top of the Bank pay scale 6 for their shifts. Bank Health Visitors will be paid £19.06 per hour (£21.36 per hour inclusive of WTD) until further notice. Enhancements will also be paid for any unsocial hours worked during this time.A variety of shifts are available, including Evenings and Weekends.The Health Visiting service is offered City Wide, but areas of highest need will be:

  • Edgbaston
  • Quinton
  • Ladywood
  • Yardley
  • Sparkbrook
  • Erdington
  • Northfield

  • The post holder must be a Registered First Level Nurse/Midwife with a Health Visitor Certificate/Diploma/Degree with evidence of recent professional development.This post requires completion of a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) form. Due to recent changes in law, the DBS operate a system of ‘Single Certification’ whereby only a copy of the certificate/disclosure is issued to candidates and not to BCHC as the employer.
