Band 7/8a Aseptic Services Pharmacist – BirminghamHunter AHP Resourcing have a brilliant locum hospital opportunity based with an esteemed NHS service in the Birmingham area. Aseptic services are looking for a pharmacist with prior unit experience to join on the department on a full-time locum basis. Thepost holder will work in close partnership with the Senior Pharmacists in Aseptic Services & main working duties of the role are outlined below.– undertaking clinical validation of chemotherapy prescriptions, parenteral nutrition orders & worksheet checks– undertaking final check & release of manufactured products– dispensing of aseptically prepared clinical trials– liaising with clinical trial and pharmacy staff with regards to monitoring and continuing supply of trial medicines to patientsPLEASE NOTE: Only those on the GPhC register & with prior aseptic experience will be eligible for such a position.
