Health Care Assistant Band 2 – Birmingham Chest ClinicPart-Time – 30 HoursWe are currently looking to recruit Health Care Assistants (Part-Time – 30 hours) to join our busy Outpatients Department at the Birmingham Chest Clinic; part of University Hospital Birmingham. Do you have a minimum of six months experience in the last 12 months, working in a role where you provide physical care to others Are you interested in Respiratory Medicine Are you skilled in venepuncture Are you passionate about moving your career forward, with one of the largest acute Trusts Then we would really like to hear from you.Birmingham Chest clinic is situated in the heart of the city and offers a wide range of services to the population of Birmingham and beyond. The Outpatients Department is open Monday-Friday 8:30 - 17:30 and provides generalist and specialist services including asthma, interstitial lung disease, sarcoidosis, occupational lung disease, tuberculosis, bronchiectasis, cancer and COPD.We are looking for individuals who are currently working as HCA’s and inspire to making a positive contribution and have the desire to care for our patients to the highest standards and to treat our patients with the dignity and respect they deserve.The role will provide you with an excellent development opportunity and role specific training will be provided, which will be supported by a competency package and mentoring.Are you motivated, dedicated, passionate and ready to further develop your knowledge and skills in looking after respiratory patients we would love to hear from you.
