Role: Azure Cloud EngineerSalary: Up to £55,000 per annumLocation: Birmingham (hybrid)My client is one of the UKs leading independent financial advisory firms and they have an exciting opportunity for an Azure cloud engineer to join their IT team. This person will support the business estate for cloud-based infrastructure services, cloud-basedAzure and Office applications. My client is currently part of a large investment within cloud services and require an engineer to help support the current infrastructure, future projects, and any infrastructure migrations.Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day technical support of a range of Cloud-based applications and services such as; Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS, Azure Service Map, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Azure Resource Manager, Office 365/M365 administration, SQL Server, Azure ADConnect,

• Experience with on-premise enterprise Windows Server environments
• Support and manage external companies Azure Tenancys and/or the migration of such tenancies into the Group
• Manage, maintain, and enhance current cloud M365/Azure configuration/solutions
• Monitor Azure resources and ensures cost-effective use is being achieved
• Support the IT and transformation teams with Dataverse technologies
• Implement security policies in line with the business requirements for cloud-based services
• Drive companywide adoption by customising and utilising all the features of Azure and Cloud based services.
• Coordinating with departmental data owners and departments on data and group/site permissions.
• Understanding of the key concepts of the ITIL framework

Essential Experience

• Support and administer a Microsoft Azure Environment
• Migrations from on-premises to cloud
• Onboarding and supporting company acquisitions
• Using Azure, O365, EMS, PowerApps, SharePoint, and other MS cloud applications
• Cyber security principles.
• Providing IT Security assurance on complex projects (desired)
• Strong risk management knowledge
• Strong Analytical Skills
• Ability to provide input to solutions required for complex IT and business operations
• Has awareness of problem-solving procedures used for business-critical IT incidents
• Continuous document validation and creation
• Working within the banking / financial sector and sound understanding of regulatory requirements (DPA, and FCA)

Technical Skills:

• Strong Azure Management and Administration
• Understanding and experience working within a data verse environment
• Federated Identity (Azure Active Directory and Microsoft Identity Manager)
• Microsoft Intune (Cloud Hybrid Configurations)
• Rights Management (Azure and On Premise)
• Azure Multi-Factor Authentication
• Experience of managing and administering SharePoint, Dynamics, Teams; OneDrive; MS Flow
• Azure Site Recovery would all be beneficial
• Microsoft Intune Integration & MDM & PC administration (desirable)
• Microsoft Enterprise Mobility and Security Suite - EMS (desirable)
• Microsoft Azure Fundamentals - AZ-900
• Microsoft Azure Administrator - AZ-104
• Microsoft Azure Security Engineer Associate - AZ-500
